Deer Lake is loosing water depth at the public launch earlier each spring making the public launch useless. I believe this is due to the high use of lake water to a lot more cabins.

Started fishing at 8 am and quickly caught and released 3 12 in. rainbows off my dock and at 10 am got a 19 in. 3 pound rainbow. Later at 1 pm I got a 2 and a half pound smallmouth by a submerged log....

Not as many kokanee's biting these days as in years past. A lot of action deep trolling for mackinaw. Good 5 - 10 pounders caught at sunrise and sunset.
