Hit the water about 6:45 - beautiful morning, water was moderately clear and calm, only ~ 5 other boats mostly with friendly fisherman - trolled around the big end of the lake (West?) by the public launch for almost 2 hrs without a bite - crossed the lake towards the narrow end (East?) and started marking fish - my son caught a small rainbow and convinced me to switch to a salmon egg with a bit of yellow powerbait - we both missed a couple more until a landed one - we messed around in the weeds, saw some bass, but no bites - headed back around noon-ish - it was getting hot and the power boats and jet skis had taken over the lake - btw - stay in the center of the waterway to and from the public launch - it is very shallow
