The kokanee fishing was great, We used 2 oz. sinkers, Ford Finders type A with a Rim Rock spinner, we tipped the hook with a maggot The fish were biting at 20 feet. Boat speed 1.2 MPH

It Was windy and rainy , but the Cutts where hungry. Flys where the key . #8 buggers in purple and #16 midges. Was out for about five hours and boated 45 + fish all but two where let go.

Not sure why but the bass just seem to be mostly absent this season. May have something to do with the wild water level fluctuations this winter and or the beaver dam effected the lake somehow.
