This afternoon I fished lake sixteen. There were about 6 boats on the lake and it was cloudy and overcast. Water temp was 57 degrees F. Fish were active on the surface however they were not biting or reacting to several lures that I offered. I also used a Mack’s Flash Lite and wedding ring w/power bait with no success. I spent over a 3 hours on the lake. I saw 3 fish caught by two separate boats trolling unidentified lures. I trolled a green rooster tail, green dick nite, power bait alone, green, and black wooly bugger flies all without a bump. The finder marks lots of fish near the bottom and some mid depth. I also soaked power bait off the bottom with a 4 foot leader. As I mentioned in another post submitted yesterday, I believe the water is just too cold for these fish to want to feed. I believe it will pick up once the water warms a bit. I gave the fishing a 2 however it’s a good lake and I will be back. Good fishin all.
