Here's a 5.2 I caught on a bait I just made the other day. She took the darker colored one. Choked it in fact, it was way in the back of her mouth. I pulled her out from under a dock with my new Phenix Feather heavy spinning rod I was trying out for the first time today. It passed the test, it handled her perfectly.

I had a good day on 6/7. I beat my previous PB with two fish: a 5.5, followed by a 5.3!

Seeing as this thread hasn’t seen a post in awhile, I’ll put one up. Caught these last Monday out in the smoke. They weighed in at 5, 4, and 3lbs. The 5 inhaled a knock off of a Grande Bass Airtail Rattler that I made, the 4 on a jig that I made and the 3 on a Picasso Shock Blade.

Caught this guy while crappie fishing at night. 1/32 oz crappie jig, 6 lb suffix nano braid line on a an ultralight rod rated for 2-6lb test. It was just over 22 inches long, didn't get an accurate weight though. Maybe 6 pounds? Regardless, its definitely twice the size of my previous personal best! It was an epic battle I wont soon forget.

I was bassing in May at Clear Lake...got 13" very close to shore 15" by boat launch very, very close to shore...and used that pattern down to south end...got 17" to tie my lake best...then next bass was 18.5" photo would not load...then next bass saw wake he missed it then cast in again see wake and fish on!!! He jumped three times ..20" by 6" wide. I don't own a scale but beat my personal best since 1987 by 1"! (Which I tied in 2000 both at Sunday Lake) I was having a hell of a day!!! Not often you tie and break your lake record on back to back to back bass...good luck out there.... James
