Here is the ONLY two guessers left that are in the running since the entry cutoff was July 1st:

The tipping point would be: 27,674......winner.......c_saeteurn
: 27,675......winner.......Dustin07

The trend puts the final number right at that tipping point........ anywhere else would indicate false data

Presently, the member count is 27,667 with less than 6 days remaining. With the tipping point at 27,674. I hope, out of fairness, that the final number as of midnight on 12/31. Would have all spammers subtracted before determining the winner.

Anybody know what the daily, new member average has been in December? Mark?

Yep, Moto... I haven't written anything down or used a calculator but the last couple of months SEEMS to have been approx 20 new members per 10 day period... Cooler weather and hunting season seemed to be the point that number accumulation dropped dramatically. And... with 5-6 days left... it's on typical course currently. barring an anomaly, it'll be close to the tipping point that you established... numbers... been interested since guessing the number of jelly beans in a jar at St Bens.. LOL mods have a consistent tracking or elimination of spammers... "It's All Good!" I just have too much time on my hands. LOL

I got 'only' a few spammers today, 8 of them, but I did get 1 fish, too bad it was a trout. And Mike got 2 spammers today, I don't know how many fish he caught today.

FC...It's more of a current trending number rather than a straight daily average.... Fewer people hittin the beach during the winter or even weekdays for that matter... ie: A month with extra weekend days, should accelerate membership during the Spring or Summer months.... barring variables such as show exposure or such... strictly my opinion of course

Wow! I don't understand the whole spammer thing....why they come here... bottom line, money of course... but.... how they actually find WaLakes..... tracking cookies I suspect...

To the numbers thing.. I googled a couple winter fisheries last night/this morn, my picture popped up amongst a collage of other pictures... I thought it was pretty cool. clicked the picture of myself and google brought me to WaLakes, one of my former accounts from 11? years ago...

f-n-Christ, what do the numbers in each post represent? Is 27,444 a way late guesstimate of a member count a couple months ago?

Does 4746 represent new members in 2013, and 358 the days in a year? (52 weeks in a year x 7= 365 days -7= 358). Having much trouble with the calculations.

Mark, totally with ya on the trend. Each month of the year has a different membership (new members). End of the year slooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwssssssss...................waaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy........dooooooowwwwwwnnnnnn.

A 13.25 daily average is way to high for this time of year. 3-5 seems closer. Total guesstimate though. I think wright now there are 2 new members for the day.
