At least for the east side the snow is on its way. Not only that, it is suppose to get down into the single digits at night by next Monday...... winter is here:shaking:

And we're going to greet it all by Going Fishing. I've got 4WD, chains, a heater in the boat, extra propane bottles, we'll all dress warm, and fill the cooler with limits of Roosevelt rainbows.Marc Martyn wrote:At least for the east side the snow is on its way. OK, I think I won the first snow bet. My first photo was just a skiff of snow but now we have a couple inches.

Well its coming down good this morning. Looks pretty at least. Its sticking good and here comes the headaches. I forgot to check antifeeze level in the truck. I usually run enough for like -10 or so Im thinking Ill be good. But the last time I put some water in did I just put water or did I mix it. Man I gotta check it.
More fish please!
RE:Any bets on first snow
Just a light dusting this morning. Stopped now and most is gone. But at least I DID get snowed on while mole hunting.

The flakes are falling here in north Lynnwood - five minutes before I was going to leave to go get one of those anti show removal things called a shovel. I apologize to the city of Lynnwood for failing my mission. Had I got the shovel this white stuff would likely never had started to fall :D
RE:Any bets on first snow
The snow is now starting to stick here in Tacoma. There is a good 3/4 inch on the ground!
RE:Any bets on first snow
Light snow in renton, not sticking yet. Went to blue creek today and it was coming down heavy.

RE:Any bets on first snow
I'm in Burlington this evening. Driving to Sea-Tac in the morning to drop off my daughter and her family who are going to New Zealand for Christmas. We are leaving the airport and driving to Spokane. The drive will be interesting. Snow, heavy at times with a 20 mph wind from the north, with higher gusts. Wind chills are suppose to be near zero all day. I could be a long, tiring drive home.
