Even though I miss the PNW I have been very successful here in WY. I reached a goal in my life 6 months ago when I got into college now I have moved up and I have been accepted to the University of Wyoming in the fall. I am going for a degree in the fisheries program here:cheers:

Way to be man! Sometimes it takes a lot of courage to take that first step of "change" and it sounds like you made the right decision for happiness.

Gone down the work hard route when I started my family... I framed houses and worked in the construction industry. But I couldn't have a job I love pounding nails. If I can get a job in a local game and fish office I would be living a dream. The time off working for the game and fish would be spent guiding fishing trips another personal goal... Even if I get a job with the Forrest Service I would be happy.

Fishing in Wyoming is awesome. I spent the 4th of July in Cody. While I was there I did some fishing on the Bighorn. Caught smallmouth bass there. Also caught some really nice trout over there.
