I cannot honestly rate this report as I got the one I needed and left! However, I spent about two hours working pad areas looking for a topwater largemouth bite to no avail. Once I left that alone and headed out to the points with my DT6 crankbait it took about 3 casts to have a 2.2 smallie in the boat and I was off to Lewis County!

Fish came off the steeper edge of a main lake point in about ten feet of water. I felt the thump and then nothing so I actually waited a second then figured I would set the hook just in case, sure enough it was swimming towards the boat. In my excitement and haste to get to Lewis I forgot to snap a pic! Fortunately I caught it on GoPro so it will show up in my next video update :)
