Mason County’s Spencer Lake is located about 7 miles NE from Shelton. It covers 220 surface acres, reaches depths of about 36 feet and lies at an elevation of 170 feet. Fish species include rainbow trout, perch, smallmouth and largemouth bass. Public access is provided by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife. The large access area has a pit toilet, a concrete plank boat launching ramp and lots of parking space.
