Took the father-in-law to be out to Spencer Lake for an afternoon troll. Weather for this time of year was absolutely amazing and fished most the afternoon in a T-shirt. Wasn't red hot fishing for sure but we had a half dozen bites and went home with a 13 in and 15.5 in set of rainbows. Didn't mark a lot of fish and didn't see any of the recent cutthroats stocked. My guess is they are lurking around in the shallows next to the launch so shore fishing may be productive? Gave it a 2/5 for the nice weather and nice company!
