My son Cullen joined the normal suspects for an outing to Sprague this morning in the rain. It took about 15 minutes for the first rod to double over. After a nice fight a solid 24" RBT was netted and released after a quick picture. Rippin minnows flat lined behind the boat and off the planer board accounted for 5 fish in the first hour including another 23"er. We were feeling pretty good that our efforts to brave the wind and rain were going to pay off big and then we went over an hour without a bump. We ended up with 10 fish with at least another 10 hit and misses. 9 on various colored rippin minnows and a single fish on a perch Kekeda fly. Tried both ends of the lake today. Water temp 40*, speed 2.0-3.0 MPH, depth 8-15 FOW. WE enjoyed a nice rainbow before calling it quits. Another great day on the water with family and friends!
