11/8/2017 7:36:25 AMC&R is always A-OK, but as to comments on the eatability of these fish...It depends on the time of year and most of all, the "after the catch" care. The Winter and early Spring are the best "Keep Times". I always clean my fish ASAP at the lake after catching them and put them immediately on ice. I primarily smoke them with apple chips and gift a few to neighbors and friends who thank me for the best "smoked salmon" that they have ever eaten.
