Went out 6:45am to 10am - Fish are there, I think it's broadening your tactics.
River was high and muddy after the good rain we've had - flow was moving a lot stronger. Guide boat moved from our spot pretty quickly after arriving, just too many variables in the water and with the flow it wasn't going to be productive for his group.
We drifted spoons, corkies w/ scent on yarn. Nothing, maybe one hit?
Threw some Wigglers, nothing.
Jigs, nothing.
However, I watched a guy literally just reel in an 17# +/- King. Big beautiful fish, had certainly turned and was tired, pretty much came right to the bank. He released him promptly.
There is always tomorrow. Good luck gents.
