Hit up the Snohomish near Heirman park three times in the past week. The fish seemed to be everywhere except on my hook so I went further up the river.

Today I spent about 25 minutes losing jigs and a corky set up prior to nice guy helping me out. He showed me a better spot and taught me a bit about the river and how the fish run. Once in a better place I used an orange gods tooth about a foot and a half below a weight. Fourth cast out o hooked a lovely hen. First salmon ever! I fished a bit more and didn't get another but it certainly made my day.
