After working way too hard for the past two weeks I finally get a day off. Hit Island Lake bright and early with Bob Johansen. Started fishing at 5:30am and immediately we were into many, many bass. The size was the only issue - small fish except for one briefly hooked NICE bass that came off my floating Rapalla. We fished until 10:30 and grew tired of the little ones so decided to head over to Isabella and look for bigger fish...
