Today was another day, planned to get out there just as the sun was coming up, but that didn't happen lol.
Headed out to the river with a friend around 8:30am got to our spot maybe around 9:30am. Decided to fish away from the hole that sucked up so much of our gear yesterday. Tried a new spot not to far away from it. Used spinners, spoons, jigs, and eggs. But no luck, but no snags either! Then I noticed a guy leaving the spot we were at yesterday, I spoke with him for a bit, he had been fishing there all morning floating eggs, and caught a couple coho, they were nice and bright. I decided to give the hole a shot again, and 2nd cast with my float and eggs, bobber went down, and didn't come back up. Couldn't believe I snagged lol, as I was tugging on the line it came free for a few seconds, bobber came back into view and then snagged again and the line snapped lol. I guess this is just part of fishing the rivers. Should probably move to a different spot but its hard to when you got that gut feeling the fish are there. Hope everyone else is having better luck!
