I went to My OWN Smacktalk Hole (NOT to be confused with Jonb's Smacktalk Hole) today to see if I still had my lucky streak going with the Pinks. It did not disappoint as I caught 10 pinks in 90 minutes. Attached are a couple of pictures of 2 very large bucks I caught and released that didn't have their humps yet. I then decided to twitch a purple jig to try my luck at a Coho. Unfortunately I went 0/0!

Well done chwong! Good to hear not all the fish have headed upriver yet and they still look good! Were you just using a typical pink jig? Or what was your bait/lure of choice?

Thanks for posting the report. Im planning on hitting snoho after I gets these kids off to school. What were they biting on?

Nice catch. I think the river hates me. I will have to go at it again but not easy for me to find spots or a sitter. It appears the bit is mostly mid morning to afternoon? Is that right or is there action still to be had early morning?

Lately fish been hitting on any color jig. The trick is just to get your jig on the bottom and right at their faces, which is tricky cause if you don't have the river dialed I you'll end up losing jig.

I agree with Mr. Huli's tips. The only thing I would add is that I've been using 1/4 oz. and 3/8 oz jigs.
