So this adventure happened over the weekend. Started at the skagit river about 7 fished until ten with no luck. Decided to try the Snohomish went to the Rotary Park boat launch got there at about noon, tide was down and I my buddy walked out about fifteen yards and the water was still knee deep. Well we tried to launch anyway and that was a terrible idea. MY TRUCK GOT STUCK! So I put it in four and started gassing and my buddy said your moving keep gassing it and I dug one foot holes on each tire..... So now we need to get pulled out luckily a fisherman with a heart says I'll pull you out. yay! No..... he couldn't pull me out with an F350... Luckily another good hearted fisherman decided to help and hooked up to the 350 and they started pulling, by this point I feel my heals get wet.... oh no.... Then they both gassed it and the truck started coming! Broke my tail light on my trailer.... Zip tied it back on and took the truck straight home pulled everything out and let it air dry, put a heater in it. Hopefully I don't have electrical issues. Moral of the story is don't try launching if it's sketchy because you might not have friendly folks to pull you out like I did. I owe those guys a beer for sure. Truck is getting a lift and new tires ASAP! Also the Launch in down town snohomish has a trailer axle breaking launch on low tide watch out for that as well. Stuff happens, fishing goes on!
