i arrived at thomas eddy around 10am. krorelov, another fishing reporter was already there, we fished for about 2 hours twitching jigs, it was a little slow but consistant, i landed 3 of which 2 were bright keepers, i also allowed others to self release when i saw how dark they were. at about noon i caught a starry flounder(i think) lol, my first in the river. i tried pink jigs for a while with not a single hit on that, all of my action including the flounder came on a black/purple 3/8oz jig i scouted different places along the river throughout the day and ended up catching 4 more gnarley old bucks in the sky. not a bad day, had fun.

I was wondering if Starry Flounders made up that far since it's tidal. Interesting.

I caught one more fish after you left. Amazing that pink gear did not work for pinks that day:)
Thanks for the tips. They are priceless.

I got Starry Flounder up above the Pilchuck last week as well. It's surprising how many are that far up in the system.
