After a trip to the Duwi on Sunday morning and one nice silver to show for my efforts it was time to get back on the Snoho and try and put the Duwi trip to shame, no such luck. It is very slow and the water is very low at Thomas Eddy. Started off at my go-to spot with zero luck. What's been odd is that this spot year in and out has always produced. It has just about everything you could want in a coho honey hole. Once again nothing but wee fish tearing at my eggs. Went down river from that hole and poked around with no results and no sign of fish. Tried a faster section of water which in the past few weeks has shown some signs of movement and no luck. Lastly I fished the flats and saw a few fish rolling here and there but these fish have been tight lipped all season. Tried a few different techniques bait, spinners, and jigs no takers. As a side note the seals annoy me just like they probably annoy most fishermen but one skiff shooting up river intentionally changed course and attempted to run down one of the seals when it popped its head up, not cool. I have yet to fish any further upstream this season may have to in search of active biters.
