hit up thomas eddy from about 9 till 6. tried eggs, string/corky, spinner, puffball, dick nites. kitchen sink too heavy to carry that far. fish were there and many were caught, just not by me. tried going with longer leader since i've been going about 2-3 feet. still no luck. i think i need a heavier weight or just cast multiple lines out attached to a rock. any suggestions?

I'm going there today. You need to follow the tides. A good time to fish there today would be sunrise.
Did you ask what folks were using that caught fish?

I was out Tuesday in my boat. I was just above the Pilchuck. Talked to other boaters I know. Most fish were caught before I got there at 9:30. What I noticed was the lack of fish at the surface. Also, the water is much clearer now. That usually means a smaller offering of whatever. I fished everything as you did and got no strikes. I've caught plenty of coho this fall, but not the last 3 days. It was so slow almost all the boats went in.
