9/4/2013 2:16:00 PMTo answer you question, dshack1976, I fish along Lowell Rd and if you've ever driven along there, you'll know that fishing spots can be hard to come by, especially at high tide as the banks are all steep. But if you don't mind a little hike along the top of the river bank, you can usually find an open spot or two . . . usually. I always wear hip boots cuz as the tide is going out, you can often get out away from the overhead branches. Just be careful cuz that river mud can be REALLY soft in spots. I've gotten a boot or two stuck on several occasions! The boots also help fend off all the brambles and thorns.
