I was taking care of some family business in Western Washington & couldn't pass up the chance to give Pinks a try. I fished right in Snohomish. I fished both sides of the river between HWY 9 and the 2nd Rail road trestle upstream. It was the first time for me on this river. I was using 1/4 & 3/8ths Oz. jigs in various shades of pink. I bounced around & fished 3 places on the incoming to high tide and into the dark. I saw fish caught by bankies and boats. I netted one for a fellow next to me. He brought in about a four pounder with a trout rod. (Great young man. Asked politely for the net, asked politely if I knew the marine code, asked politely to borrow a pen to fill out his punch card. He was a embarrassed to say the least. But, we had a great laugh.) I met some good people, learned a lot and will return.
