Day four of Pink salmon 2011 on the Snohomish River and another absolutely stellar day of catching. I had my brother in-law Dan with me along with my friend Mark from work and we were on the water in our spot at 8:00 am. By 10:20 am we had 12 nice salmon in the boat and were on our way back to the launch. We tossed the tried and true pink squid jig and simply casted to these fish as they jumped and fined around us. We hooked and lost maybe 8 additional fish today and released two smaller fish as we got close to our limits. Biggest fish today were right around 6.5 to 7 lbs.
