We laughed, we cried, we yelled at eachother, we did all the things that a family does when they go fishing together. However we did manage to get our 4 limits today! Both kids 5 and 7 got to real theirs in. My 7 year old son caught 2 of his entirely on his own, netted severel, and was sure to let his 5 year old sister know what she was doing wrong. It started off slow and then as the tide was coming in it brought many fiesty humpies! We had a few doubles but didn't manage to get each of them. My wife was bound and determined for all 4 of us to limit out and boy did we! I feel very blessed to have a family that will take part in such a fun sport with me. The fish were everywhere!

Great report. It's fun to hear about an entire family catching their limits. Nicely done!

Good job! I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to gofishing with me (and hope she inherited the fishing gene), but 4 limits = 16 fish, dang that is a lot of fish to clean! Hopefully they chipped in there as well!

Thank you for posting your trip on this site. Not too many families actually go do things together any more...... Not like when i was a kid. (we had no choice, we had to go .... and actually enjoyed every moment of it !) I hope you were able to get some pictures of this day with your family so they can show their children the fun of fishing and the importance of family outtings together.....
