Launched at 2:00 pm at Rotary, no lines in or out. Fished with my wife and mom. It was a perfect day on the water. Not much action until the flood tide and then the fish moved in. We caught 4 bucks using pink rubber jigs, seemed like just drifting and jigging under the boat produced the most. Lost 2 fish due to bad line, lazy mistake. If you lose a lot of fish, get a good hook file and properly sharpen your hooks. I think the fishing will get better in the next two weeks. Really a great few hours on the water, people on the shore even applauded my mom when she landed a long fought fish.
