we started fishing at 7:30 and with recent surgrey we went to a big fishing dock....(i forget the name of the park but is downstream of a boat luanch)....

We got the tides wrong and fishing was pretty bad. it picked up at 12. i cast out a homemade hootchie jig and WHAM FISH ON!!!! fought for a couple of minutes until my cheap hook bent out. about half an hour later my dad hooks into one and lost it on a pink dicknight. 5 mins later my dad yells,"fish on!!" and we got it up and was a nice bright hen with some eggs in her! she went on ice for the smoker..

we left the park at 1:30 and we were prety happy!!!
