Fished the snoho again today. Launched at 645am Avoided the tidal launch problem at Rotary and launched all the fricken was down at Langus. Long run, but the weather was good so that always helps. Ran up and fished an area where fish were holding yesterday, saw a lot of jumpers/rollers/wakes in our spot and got right on top of the fish back bouncing, back trolling, and casting, but could not induce a strike. Trolled with wiggle warts, spinners, and cut plug herring that I brined up last night scented with anise and brightened with a "Blueing agent". The herring looks like a lights out presentation run off of a dropper lead but it did not even get a nibble. When the tide started to change we motored around looking for fish, found a decent concentration and trolled up down back forth left right all over trying to get a hit as the fish jumped around the boat, nada. Pretty typical of Snohomish silvers to go lockjaw on yah, haha. Once we get this next rain there should be good catchable numbers in the system.
