I was struggling to find out what they were hitting. They were coming up in school every 20 minutes or so...some schools larger than others.

Pink jigs were working for one guy, but not others. I caught this 4lbser on the shown lure...a 3" pink bb and a firetiger trolling spoon (odd combo, I know. But I was desperate.). Then some guy showed up with his son and started hitting them quick. I was there for 5 hrs and he was there for 2. he hit his limit and then started working on his son's limit. I asked what he was using and he said a pink squid jig tipped with shrimp and a slow retrieve. I think I'll try that next time out.

Does anyone know if the shrimp thing works on spoons too?

Fun fish to land. Tasty too!

No. Just south of Snohomish on the east bank. There are spots just off the road.
