Since today is the first day for fishing on the Snoho, I decided to take the girls down to Bob Heirman Wildlife park, wade around in the water, get reports from people and see first hand if I could see any activity. We got there just after 3 and headed down to the river. On the way down I briefly chatted with a gent who was there early in the morning and returning, said he got 3 (although the limit is 2, not sure if he was with someone else). Talked to another guy who said he saw about 5 taken in the morning (he was just leaving). We took a peek at the water, no surface activity. We continued to walk down the river, lot's of people fishing the banks. Made it down to the shallow part where the river splits and let the girls wade around in the water. Also showed my oldest how to cast since I hope to have her catch a pink if I can manage it. We waded over to the islands and watched over there. Only saw a couple of jumps, way out in the middle.
