Got to the river at around 2:30pm. The weather broke but it was still real windy. The tide was outgoing but do to the rains the river was muddy and the current was really strong. I was with a friend and we were fishing over the top of some structure that was in about 6-7 feet of water and running the lures in about 3-5 feet of water. We were just about to quit at around 5:30pm. Then my buddy got about a 4lb silver(didn't scale it) on a chartreuse spoon. At about 6pm I hooked into a nice 10lb silver (definitely scaled it!) on a chartreuse spinner. At first I thought I hooked a log but then he shot out of the water like a rocket. After he splashed down like Moby Dick he put up a nice fight but I'm happy to say he is now in my refrigerator in the form of two very nice fillets!!!! Tight lines and I'll see you out on the River!!!
