Launched around 8 a.m. on Saturday morning in search of the first bass bite of the year. Water temps were ranging from 43.5 to 45 degrees depending on the location. The first and only fish came around 10 a.m., and was caught on a Red Eye Shad in the red craw color. The bass was hugging the bank, off a sandy rock edge. We threw gear for muskie all day as well, but no follows to speak of.
