It was a little windy starting out but, by getting into the protected areas, it was fine.
The lake is WAY UP with the water about 3 feet below the parking lot.
All the snags along the south east side are clear under water! The little rock jetty that is straight
cross from the boat ramp is completely covered with water. So, the water is well into the willows on the north shore.
The trout are in there too.
Water temp was 50 degrees. Fly fished with a sparrow and did very well...caught about 20 cutthroat
mostly in the 10-12 inch size but a couple were 14 inches long.

Not much of a hatch but a few caddis are coming off though the fish didn't seem interested.
