Had a decent morning testing the OG1 lure on Rock Lake (south of Cheney, Washington).
We trolled several colors and sizes. The most consistent producers turned out to be the 2.8" and 3.9" with red-oxide and black scales on the outside and fluorescent orange on the inside.
We trolled one lure with a lead-core line and four colors out. We trolled the other behind a one-ounce trolling weight.
The fishing was slow initially; but, around 10:30 it turned on. We netted four steelhead and one rainbow in 30 minutes. Since we had to leave shortly after 11, this worked out well.
