This is a large primarily spiny ray lake of over 2100 acres. It also holds brown and rainbow trout. Located one mile north of Ewan. A public access is at the south end of the lake. This lake is eight miles long so can get quite windy. You really need either a 4X4 or a really sure-footed vehicle with some oomph if you want to launch anything bigger than say a 14-16 foot boat. The launch is definitely "un-improved," but do-able. The lake is really something in terms of structure and the biological capability of producing big fish. NOTE: this lake has dangerous underwater hazards with rocky reefs far off shore. Extreme caution is advised!
