Finally had a chance to wet a line this year. My girlfriend and I got to the lake at 6 am. Didn't catch anything for the first half half hour or so until I got a small bass. At least the skunk was off! We worked around the pads and shoreline and over the next few hours we caught about a dozen bass, 4 crappie a perch and 2 pretty big pikeminnow. Never caught a pikeminnow in this lake before and if anyone else has please do not release them! These 2 turned into raccoon and eagle food.
Used mostly top water rapalas and shallow crankbaits. Most bass were around a pound or so. One was 1-1\2 lbs and the biggest was 2-1\2 lbs. We both had a really good time and can't wait to get out again.
