My husband asked me what I wanted to do for Mother's day. My response, "Go fishing of course". We got on the lake about 6:30 am. It was overcast with a mild breeze. We were trolling a Mack's Wedding ring tipped with shrimp. I was using pink/yellow and he was using UV orange/green with size 6 hook. We started trolling slowly with no response. Bumped up the speed and that did the trick. Lost 4 at the boat but we both caught our limit. Fish ranged between 11" - 12 1/2". It was cold with the wind but when the fish are biting I will freeze before going back in. Mother's day dinner? Trout of course.
