Got down to Rock this morning with my brother inlaw. What a beautiful day, no wind and mid seventies under clear skies. Ran up to the inlet end and the water was very dirty with lots of debris and floating wood (logs) watch out! Marked tons of fish but no takers. Finally ran back down lake and fished a mile or so from the ramp. Ran three colors lead with the downriggers at 18'. The steelhead just loved a olive green Mudler trolled at 2.3 mph. Also caught many on the olive bunny leech with red hackle. Fun to catch on the lite kokanee rods. Caught one bow at 16", nice heavy fish with red meat. Great eats tonight for dinner. We were one fish short of a limit when I went to take the pics....how did that happen?
I counted over 50 cars/trailers in the parking lot what a zoo! Bank fishermen and ladies were doing well too. Water is up so launching was good over the bank where I usually launch.
