Went out for a couple hours before work. Seen two rangers out there. Wondering how they did... anyways, started out by the timbers chucking a senko, had one really good hit.. but didn't hook up.. switched to a swim jig.. pretty sure a tiger came up half way back and smoked it. Then spit it... frustrating.... broke out the 12 ft crank.... nada... marked tons and tons of perch and probably a couple musky. Tossed the spinner bait for a while... then finally broke the weeds then she hammered it. Got wrapped around a submerged tree.. steady pressure and next thing you know she's in the boat. Lost my blade due to the tree. 3 lbs 10 oz But a solid chunk for me out of there. Going to try it again before too long.
