Was windy and got 1 on a hula popper and the other 5 on a shad rap, overall had another great night was a lot of fun!

*Editor Note 6/27, per angler, was with others and the fish pictured were total from the group of anglers, he is holding them all up. To avoid confusion I have removed all save one picture.

if all those fish are 6 different fish, and you are at home, and retained them, then you fished illegally

the creel limit on Largies is 5 fish, NONE between 12" and 17", and only ONE over 17"

there are other regs for Vance Creek Ponds #1 and #2. juvenile anglers under 15, seniors over 70, and anglers with a disability who have designated harvester cards only.

You just might want to read the regs to be sure. If you were fishing the actual creek and not the ponds, then I don't know what the regs are, would be the state wide min size/daily limit, which is still 5 fish, etc...

Wow! ok, I am guessing that I, and every other bass fisherman knows what AMX said, lol. I will say, knowing the forum rules here and all, that your pictures look awfully incriminating. If those fish are, indeed, dead you pretty much broke the law a number of times.

Yeah....I don't know specifics here, but there are rules in bass fishing. There are regs, and they need to be adhered to. Sometimes people are not aware of these, but one needs to know the regs when fishing for anything in any body of water.

I caught a 4 pound, 13 ounce largemouth at pond #2 back in 1995. Photo is posted in my overview of Vance Creek. That fish hit a top water Rapala and was handled very gently, a quick photo and was released back into the water to be caught again. These small bodies of water cannot withstand harvesting of the big bass and continue to produce good fishing.

john wright has been banned for a month or until he can explain to this web site's owner as to why he can't fish legally, and can't except the info on the regs.

So as always, there is more to the story than words/pictures in the report can tell. In this case, I received a response from the John. I'll post it here, with the hopes that people will give the benefit of the doubt before jumping on others. We have to remember that many people that post on the site don't necessarily think about how pictures may look or explain themselves fully because they don't even realize they would have to explain themselves. Anyway, here is John's reply:
" Dear sirs, I am a 50 year old disabled man, I am dealing with a terminal illness, that in itself is enough. I am also from out of state, and legally blind. My wife is from wa,state and since I can't read told me the regulations,a daily limit of 6 bass per day. She started this on this site for me because she thought it would make me feel better, after being harrassed and the return comments that shee has read to me that I have got from people,I am pretty devistated. I had not been fishing in several years due to my illness and blindness,I have been on hospice twice, and after the exsprience and the negetivity that I have recieved here please delete and cancel my membership. See,people are cruel, they send negetive comments without knowing the backstory, wich really hurts. 1.I am terminally Ill. 2.someone else was with me and helping me with the fishing. 3.some of the fish pictured were my son's,because he didnt want to take the time to get his picture taken,he could care less about fishing,he just wants to be there for his dad. I have had a very tough road with my illness,I dont need to be made to feel any worse by people on here. Please delete my membership and photos. Thank you for your time"
