The wife and I launched around 1700 and fished the Eastern shore among the submerged stumps for a few hours with little success. Navigating around (or through) the weeds was the biggest challenge, but when we WERE able to find a clear path to retrieve, we were getting bites. The wind picked up a lot so we ended going to the northern most shore and followed the rock wall along the road to get into calmer water. Throwing a 3.5 or a 4 inch tube with a 1/8 ounce jig head weedless into the shallows and jigging it deeper we were able catch a few in about 1-2 feet of water. Overall experience was good, just not consistent fish.
