Got on the lake with my son-in-law and started fishing about 7:30am. We anchored around the point from the boat ramp, changing locations a couple times. We did this for a couple hours and landed only a couple fish using powerbait. Since we weren't doing too well, we decided to move more towards the north center of the lake. In no time we were into the fish and caught several more within 30 minutes, with the largest being about 18 inches. As fast as the bite turned on, it was off again. So we decided to change tactics and started trolling wedding rings. In no time we finished out our limits. Most fish were in the 9 - 11 inch range, with the one exception.
