Got on the water at 6:30 and within 5 min the bite was on. Left at 12:00 with a total of 30 LMB. All within .5-1.5lbs. This little lake is super fun. The entire shoreline is fish able, with tons of grass beds, lily beds, and docks to target. And the fish are exactly where you would expect them to be. These fish were very aggressive. I caught 4 fish I onow I missed at least once, 2 I missed twice. And I'm pretty sure I caught the same fish twice. About 10:30 they quit biting in the sun. It took us about 30 min to figure this out. Once we did, bite was back. Just found some shade with grass, or lily pads and bam. Caught all 30 on 4"-5" senkos, and 5" big bite trick sticks. Was a great day. Now for the but part. I feel like there are really only smaller fish in this lake. Maybe what we need to start doing is keeping our limit, so there's not so many fish to fight for the food. Then these little guys get bigger. On the other hand, with a ultra light pole, and these pretty aggressive little dudes would make for a super fun day
