I decided to see how Bosworth is holding up this season. Thus far I limited out every trip I've been to this lake this year. I started off trolling a spider pattern near the surface, as that was the ticket last time I was here. Nothing touched it, so I switched out my spool to a fast sink tip and trolled the Carey special dead slow, after a while I stopped paddling and drifted then my rod tip burried, fish on! I caught and released 6 12"-13" bows within the next 2 hours, I didn't keep any because they had nasty white lumps all over them, I believe it's called red sore disease. This lake still has lots and lots of trout in it, they are just holding deeper in the water column and want a slower retrieve. I believe all my action came in about 15' below the surface on the far end from the launch.
