Was on the water just before 7am, slow start.
Spinner bait wasn't producing and bluegill swim bait, nothing as well.
So switched over to a Creme lure, night crawler plastic bait. And, I started getting hook ups. I mainly worked the various flats, between docks. The flats contained mid-level weeds and seemed to be a holding spot for bass today. Also, the bluegill were present in these flats and nice ones (8-10"). I caught the gills off a white, curly tail grub, tipped w/crappie nibble.
Was a fun day on Five Mile Lake after I figured out the fishing pattern.
