Work was slow and I don't get paid to stand around, so I headed out. Was on my way to Deep lake but decided to stop by Fish lake and take a look. The water is still low but figured it wasn't too muddy to wheel my boat down to the waters edge. The creek that feeds lake was flowing nice and clear but the lake is very murky right now. Started trolling around with two poles. One with a needle fish and one with Panther Martin..Both tipped with worm. Ended up with getting 2 fish on with the Panther. I should mention that I took the treble hook off after loosing a BIG trout at Deep lake last week.. I'm not a big fan of trebles. Anyways... Both fish netted where nice little cutts. 6 inches and 9 inches. I switched to just drifting around with worms and managed another 9 inch cutt. I released all the fish. Water level was only 11 ft at the most and about half the lake was only 5 ft deep. I was hopping to see some schools of perch on my Lowrance but none where found. Overall a nice quite time on the water catching a few fish and some sun.
