Decided to head out to Island and enjoy the nice weather with my gf. We launched the boat and started fishing the lily pads near the boat launch. My gf had a nice hit on her Koppers mouse and it scared her. I caught my first fish near a dock using a green pumpkin zoom trick worm. We moved over to another patch of lilys and I caught a nice size bass using a bull frog colored zoom super speed craw. We continued fishing around the lake and I caught a another nice bass on the east end of the lake. My gf lost a nice bass off a dock. I couldn't grab the net fast enough to net it. I tried out a couple new lures to see how they did. I had several hits on my Stanley ribbit frog by reeling it like a buzzbait. I also tried my Koppers popper frog which has great action and makes a lot of noise. The water temp was 84 degrees.
