Got on the water a little after 0800. Headed out North of Harper Island and started trolling. We stayed out in the middle and fished the deeprer water. Bites were slow. We ended up with 6 fish and had a few bites w/o hook-ups. Nice part is the water is really clear now, no algae at all. Most fish were cookie cutter size (2.5+#) except one which topped the 5# mark on the scale. Hard to say what works best. We were using some flies a friend (thank you John) ties so not available to anyone else...but they were in the red/yellow catagory. We were alone on the lake for quite a while until a couple more boats finally showed up. Water was really calm and above freezing. Not the best day fishing but any day on the water is a great day.
