Fishing solo, I launched my small boat on Horseshoe Lake in mid-morning. Started right off catching bass - the best about 3 1/2 pounds (19) inches. One trout angler named "Joe" was quitting at the same time I launched. He had a huge rainbow trout that I took a photo of and sent it to him by e-mail. Joe is a good guy - he packed off a huge bag of garbage some thoughtless slob had left at the launch ramp. Hopefully he will submit a report with the photo. It was sunny and warm but a little too windy in most places. All my bass were hooked on a Rapala. Saw many nests but none with a bass on it. Many blue gill were spawning. Had more photos I could have added but am limited to two as it seems my premium membership has expired. A very nice day on the lake.
